Will it matter on my deathbed? A conversation on courage, self-worth & sisterhood with Jane Galloway.

S1 E8

Are you agonising over a decision you need to make? Perhaps you are thinking about quitting your job, going all in on your business? Maybe it is leaving a relationship, or making a decision to move to a new location. How long have you spent going back and forth and inevitably not deciding anything? Sometimes we wonder whether we are worthy of the changes we wish to make, whether anything really is possible. Our inner critic can pipe up and convince us that we are not capable, we are the imposter in the room.

is someone who truly believes that anything is possible. She is the founder of Quiet the Hive, helping women to identify a life they love and arm them with the toolkit and confidence to go get it.

Jane is inspirational. She teaches me daily what it means to be courageous and she is one of life’s true cheerleaders. With Jane in your corner you feel as if you can do anything.

What makes Jane even more amazing is that what underpins this success is her own story of burnout. Before creating her business, she worked for the NHS for 24 years. In the space of just a few years she experienced bullying at work, her mum was diagnosed with terminal secondary breast cancer and her marriage came to an end with the pandemic following on it’s heels soon after. This is a real phoenix rising from the flames story and we talk about the importance of sisterhood, the life-affirming nature of grief and living a life on our own terms. This conversation will help you to make that decision you have been agonizing over much quicker. You’ll end up asking yourself, what will matter on my deathbed? Connect with this one deeply and let the courage flow as you listen to the endless wisdom of Jane Galloway.

The part 2 of our conversation over on Jane’s Podcast From Inside The Hive on Apple and Spotify.

Don’t forget what Jane said. Despite how successful her business has become, she still remains terrified every day. Her salary is less, and she works hard. But she is fulfilled, she is aligned with her purpose. She loves what she does. We can all aspire to be this.
