The Ancestral Mind in a Modern World; Understanding the importance of evolutionary psychology to our realignment

The live recording.

Monday kicked off my 4-week programme of 15-20 minute lives on how evolution can support us in the modern world.

Thank you to everyone who tuned in, I absolutely loved talking with you. The recording is here if you missed it.

Week 1; Evolutionary Psychology

In this live I covered;

  • What is evolutionary psychology?

  • Why I think it is a crucial pillar to burnout recovery and realignment with our souls.

  • A few examples that show who we are and how we relate to our environment.

  • A look into the series and what it will include.

If you have any questions feel free to pop them in the comments section below and I’d be happy to answer them.

In week 2 we will be looking at the moon and it’s impact on the body. Week 3 we will delve into my own area of research on social bonds and week 4 we will finish off the programme by taking a look at the seasons.

If the live left you wanting to know more you can find more info on my Substack. In Earth’s Medicine, I write articles about our environment/evolutionary/human connections. The articles are free for the first 4 weeks. For older articles you’ll need to upgrade to a paid subscription.

From May I will be delivering pre-recorded tutorials once a month on how to work with our evolutionary psychology and physiology to become more aligned. Want clear steps on how to make changes to your life that lead to greater alignment in your soul and in your body? Then this is for you, upgrade to the paid subscription today.

If you upgrade, you will also have access to Dream to Deal, the section of my Substack that shares my journey from book dream to book deal. I am keen to spread this message far and wide through a book that combines memoir, science and a spiritual journey back to connection.

I don’t hold back in Dream to Deal. I share the good, the bad and the ugly of writing a book. On Sunday I will drop my most vulnerable share yet. A story of rejection. Eek. It’s called

"An Idea Worth Spreading (Even If It Failed)
What I learned from a rejected TED application and why it was exactly what my book needed”. OUT ON SUNDAY.

Just a heads up, in May, my paid subscription will be increasing from £7 to £12 a month and from £70 to £110 annually so if this work interests you jump onto the cheaper subscription while you can.

Date for your diary

Live 2 of 4: Monday 28th April, 4pm BST/11am EST: Lunar Tides: The Moon’s Hidden Influence on Body, Mind & Spirit. Don’t think you can make it? Don’t worry! The recording will be uploaded the next day.

See you all soon!
